Responsibilities

  • Innovedum project at D-USYS with focus on the use of generative AI in teaching and learning

 

Réka Mihálka is a lecturer on scientific writing. After acquiring her PhD in English from Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary, she moved to Switzerland and started teaching scientific writing. She has been offering courses at ETH Zurich and the Universities of Zurich, Bern, and Lucerne for almost a decade. She has led two Innovedum projects: one on the gamification of scientific writing at D-MTEC and one on  experiential learning at the Materials and Processes Doctoral Scool.

Now she's contributing to the Innovedum project at D-USYS, which focuses on the use of generative AI in teaching and learning. Her main interests include gamification, autonomous learning, digital tools for learning, and generative AI tools. In her free time, she loves hiking with her husband and their five-year-old son.
