In this talk Mialy Rann (Geneva Science-Policy Interface, a platform based at the University of Geneva with the mandate to facilitate collaborations between researchers and United Nations agencies in Geneva) will speak about the elements to consider when one wants to conduct policy-relevant research and engage with policy actors. She will also talk about her career trajectory and how she leveraged her education to identify opportunities for engagement at the science-policy interface. Furthermore, she will give insights into job prospects at the interface of science and policy and resources to build capacity in the field.
