Science and Policy Talk
In this talk, Neshan Gunasekera will speak about his experiences with the World Future Council since its establishment in 2007 and his own career trajectory to the role of CEO, of this esteemed Council, a role which he has undertaken recently. Neshan will provide some insights of his experiential learning journey across various parts of our world covering some key organizations, including the United Nations, International Union for the Conservation of Nature and other organizations that he is part of that draws from the Science-Policy interphase and its link to his current portfolio at the World Future Council. In particular, he will provide insights as to the importance of bridging the learning within the Sciences, with other knowledge systems and achieving Earth Trusteeship, a longer journey that he is traveling and invite you all to walk alongside him during this Talk and thereafter.
