Science and Policy Talk

The upcoming Science and Policy Talk “Between Evidence and Controversy: How Can Researchers Navigate Policy Advice?” will explore how researchers can provide policy advice in an increasingly polarised world.

Join us for an interactive Science and Policy Talk with Tome Sandevski (Goethe University Frankfurt), who will explore the opportunities and challenges of working at the science–policy interface. Through practical exercises and discussion, participants will examine different roles researchers can play in policy advice, learn how to formulate evidence-based policy recommendations, and reflect on the influence of values, audiences, and political contexts. Whether you are considering a career in science policy or looking to strengthen the societal impact of your research, this session offers valuable insights and practical tools.

This talk series is an offer as part of the PhD program in Science and Policy
