The Zurich-Basel Plant Science Center (PSC) offers many courses for PhD and Master's students. For a full list visit the course catalogue. Note that not all courses are offered each semester.

Registration opens on June 1 and November 1.
Please note: If offered PSC courses are also offered via the ETH course list (i.e., have an ETH Course list number), all PhD student enrolled at ETH (or who have a MyStudies account) MUST register via MyStudies directly.
Participation priority is given to PSC PhD students enrolled in the programs:
If places are available, PhD students enrolled in other Life Science Zurich Graduate School PhD programs can join without any participation fee.
Most courses are free of charge for PhD students enrolled in the PSC PhD programs "Plant Sciences" and "Science & Policy"; as well as PhD programs part of the Life Science Zuerich Graduate School (LSZGS).
Registration of other PhD students (external and non-member PhDs) or Postdocs incurs a fee of CHF 300 for most transferable skill courses, summer schools, excursions is charged.

Cancellation of a course registration should be arranged with the PSC coordination office psc_phdprogram@ethz.ch and is possible free of charge up to 2 weeks before the course starts.
Later cancellations and failure to attend or incomplete attendance without documented justification will incur a fee of 200 CHF.

Excellent English language skills are a core requirement for a successful completion of the PSC PhD Program in Plant Sciences. University of Zurich and ETH Zurich offer language training.
